Since Hagrid can't keep a secret to save his life, he's the last
person to whom Snape or Dumbledore would reveal such information if
Snape really were a vampire. It would be all over the school. Or
rather, Snape's career would be at an end. The parents don't want a
werewolf as a teacher. It's safe to say that they don't want a
vampire, either.
