What exactly constitutes "Squibdom"?

Hi,
  I said this earlier and I will repeat it here. The essential 
feature of squibs seems to be inability of doing spellwork. I mean 
whether they are simple or complex, charms or jinxes or curses, 
transfiguration or DADA, most of the magic seems to be concentrated 
in an incantation which has to be muttered to get the result. For 
some reason, squibs seem to be lacking this ability. So kwikspell 
might be an alternative way doing magic. But may be not so effective. 
We cannot be sure that it is swindling entirely without further 
evidence.
