I was reading OOTP again and read this paragraph... on page 658. 
Harry after he declares that he wants to talk to Sirius and 
George/Fred give an idea.

"What do you think about this?" Hermione demanded of Ron, and Harry 
was reminded irresistibly of Mrs Weasley appealing to her husband 
during Harry's first dinner in Grimmauld Place.


This added with all the little bits of evidence added before confirms 
in my mind the future relationship btw Hermione and Ron.
