Yes, we are aware of this canon. This is what started the whole 
problem because before that everybody including the lexicon were sure 
Katie is in the same year with the other chasers. It is possible 
JKR/Ginny just neglected to mention Katie here, but it is also 
possible everybody was wrong the whole time and Katie is a year 
younger than Angelina and Alicia. We are looking for any additional 
canon regarding this question.
