Then you consider Dumbledore untruthful?  And we don't know, yet, if 
Mark is a wizard.  It seems a reasonable guess but .......

And while we're questioning Dumbledore's truthfulness or 
knowledgableness, maybe we should question if the Evanses were in 
fact Muggles, and whether Mr Evans was even Lily's father.  So many 
unanswered questions.
