The question now is, do the Death Eaters know what happened to the
"faithful servant"? Do they even know who he was? (We do, and there's
no ambiguity in LV's words for us, but do they? Does even LV know what
happened to him?) Unless Snape, in his role as double agent, told
Lucius Malfoy, I don't see how they *could* know. But one thing's
certain. The "faithful servant" did not return.

Thoughts, anybody?
