Oh, sure there's a definite Rickman influence now, but I've been on 
this board since before the first movie came out. Trust me, Snape has 
always had his share of people who find him attractive.  

And while I find your take on the Snape/Lily thing to be refreshing 
in that you put Lily as the spurned one, that's one couple that I 
just can't see.  So, of course, it will probably turn out to be true!
