But certainly the non-believers have the same right to refuse to
believe things they don't like (although that's not the basis for my
comments; as I noted, I don't think the text supports such theories
and here I'm hindered by my profession [historian]) as the believers
do to choose to believe things they like, no?  ;-)  

I have no interest in causing any ill-feeling with my opinions, and
so I'll end this discussion here.  It'll be interesting to see how
the next 2 books unfold.  ;-)
