You're speaking of how Harry grabs Hermione's wand in the Shrieking
Shack and hits Snape w/ an Expelliarmus which knocks him out? I
thought that was weird, given that in the book it's the fact that
THREE people [I think?] simultaneously hit him with Expelliarmus
which caused him to be thrown back and knocked unconscious. I
thought that was an unusual change to have made.

Interesting idea. For now I'm sticking with the canon version of
what knocked Snape back, but if you're right that this was one of
the Cuaron changes which gave JKR chills, then, well, who knows??? :-
