Now Eustace_Scrubb:
The Thomas Percy who was involved in the Gunpowder Plot served the
Earl of Northumberland of that time.

Perhaps of interest is that another of the thirteen Gunpowder plotters
was one Ambrose Rookwood...perhaps a collateral ancestor of that other
traitor, Augustus Rookwood?  And of course the conspirator whose name
is synonymous with the plot was Fawkes.  FWIW.
