Now me:
I always asumed that "late in life" in this instance meant that they
where past Hogwarts acception age. As for Mrs. Figg, I seriously
doubt that, I dont think she's a big enough character for that, if
she could do magic, what difference would that make? Nope,
deffinetly not mrs Figg in my opinion
