Sue:
I agree that Wormtail will do something before the end - perhaps not
something noble, though. Perhaps the "worm" will turn on his master
like Wormtongue on Saruman? Or perhaps he'll be another Gollum,
doing something Harry can't do in the last minute, though not for
noble reasons? After all, he didn't seem bothered about feeding
Harry to LV in GoF. Well, who knows?
As for the Gryffindor membership, there are some pretty silly people
in Gryffindor! ;-)
