Don't want to butt in or anything, but I don't think Ollivander
actually HAD to know it was LV who had the other wand. All he had to
know was that TR bought the wand with Fawkes' feather in it, and that
Harry bought the second one, and that DD would want to know. Of
course, he could have known, because he could link two and two
together, with his extraordinary memory of the wands he's sold and
their owners.
