Hm! From the first time I saw the CoS movie I thought it sounded like
Lucius was saying "Avada Kedavra". It didn't necessarily have to come
from JKR herself, since GoF was published in 2000 and the movie
released in 2002 (right?).
But it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Lucius isn't stupid - he
knows better than to use and unforgiveable curse on Harry Potter just
down the hall from Dumbledore. That would certainly blow his cover as
a DE and land him in Azkaban for life*.
*Or until the sixth book anyway
