Hi everyone! My first post here. As I was listening to PoA today I
noticed something that struck me as odd and it brought up a
question. In the Shrieking Shack, Lupin addresses the group and
then Ron (p 362, Am HB) saying: "Then it's time we offered you some
proof," said Lupin. "You boy - give me Peter, please. Now."
Everytime I've listened to this book, I've wondered about the 'you
boy;' that seems an odd way for Lupin to address Ron. On page 350,
he twice calls him Ron (in a friendly sort of way) and surely they
have a relationship since Ron has been in his class all year. I'm
wondering if this is some sort of cryptic message. It just seems so
odd. Since Peter is in the sentence I wondered if there was message
about what might happen between Peter and Lupin (like everyone else,
that silver hand worries me). Thoughts? Or is this Quibbler-
worthy? ~tina
