Wishes come true

Hi,
 All this talk about Ron made me think. In the first book Ron sees 
himself in the mirror of Erised and he sees that he is the headboy, 
quidditch captain and winnder of quidditch cup. One of these already 
has happened. Ron did win the quidditch cup. So is he headed down the 
Headboy and Captain way?
  And Harry of course sees his parents in the mirror. Will he get to 
meet them in some form or is that wish going to remain just that 
forever-- a wish?
