And she's there for so long!  Three weeks, I think it was.

Everyone who goes to the hospital wing is stuck there.  You get conked 
on the head, you're out for a week.  Oliver Wood.  Harry.  Ron.

In America, you'd be an outpatient.  They wouldn't want you hanging 
around getting underfoot, decrying the Jello.  Maybe Madam Pomfrey is 
lonely.
