Absolutely. I do feel bad for him, even though right now I don't like
him at all right now. I feel bad for him, because sometimes Rowling
shows us that Percy is not a total git, that he does love his family
and I am hoping that not everything is lost for him.

"... but Percy, who looked very white and somehow much younger than
usual, came splashing out to meet them.

Percy seized Ron and was dragging him back to the bank("Geroff,
Percy, I'm all right!")" - GoF, am.ed., paperback, p.504

Before OoP, I used to think that Percy just needs to lighten up. Of
course, now I think he needs to do much more than that (like some
serious apologising to his family).

I only hope that he will not consciously betray anybody to Voldie and
that hypothetical somebody will not die.

Because if Percy will cause a death, I will not be able to feel
sympathy for him anymore.
