Actually, Harry is convinced that Snae dislikes him before he even knows who 
Snape is.  From chap. 7 of PS/SS, "The Sorting Hat", p. 94 (UK paper) - this 
takes place just after Harry's scar has twinged: "The pain had gone as quickly 
as it had come.  Harder to shake off was the feeling Harry had got from the 
teacher's look - a feeling that he didn't like Harry at all."
