is not HBP*. So that dashes at least 2 of the theories mentioned 
here. 

Thinking of all remaining theories discussed here about HBP, point 
no.1 & 2 tell us nothing except pointing to Slytherin (as Basilisk 
is King of Serpents). But as HBP is no way connected to Basilisk, I 
think we can rule this out (I am not ruling out Slytherin as HBP).

I was planning on re-reading chamber of secrets just after i finish 
the book I'm reading at the moment (I've recently read all the books 
apart from this one), so there's a perfect opportunity to look for 
discoveries that Harry will make.
