Snapes Attitude towards the Students

I don't know if he's  ever been disciplined. I've only seen him mistreat 
Gryffindors, I haven't seen anything with the Hufflepuffs or Ravenclaws, something I've always wondered. I think part of it is that the Slytherins 
never really give him any reason to criticize them, they never seem to have trouble following his directions or behaving in class. Neville often messes 
up, Hermione often blurts out answers, and Harry occasionally misbehaves. 
The other part of it is that he obviously favors Slytherins.
