It's all different after OOTP. Did you hear the way Dumbledore was
openly ordering Fudge around in front of the other MoM employees and
Aurors at the end of the fight? "You will do this....you will do
that..." Dumbledore is back in the saddle now and not caring if
Fudge looks humiliated as a result.
I can't see JKR bringing the series' plot threads to a halt by
somehow letting Lucius get off without a hitch. What would be the
point, plot-wise?
