Yes, I think you're right but I also think it may foreshadow what
many of us already believe, and that is that Snape is actively
looking out for Harry. I liked it on one level but I don't actually
think the overall scene worked in the movie. BTW, can anyone tell
me, what happens after Snape initially shields the trio? I've
forgotten, in the rush of events, what causes Harry to be separated
from Snape/Hermione/Ron.
