I would disagree with this.  Surely, the advances that have been made 
by muggles have outsripped anything that the ww has to offer.  Based 
on the books ww technology has not advanced in many a year while 
muggle technology has come on in leaps and bounds especially in the 
past 100 years.  Space exploration is a prime example.
