Just a small point - we don't actually KNOW what color the spell that hit 
Sirius was - it's not specified.  The FIRST spell she threw at him - the one for 
which he taunted her - is described as a red light; but the color of the 
second isn't given at all.  So we don't know if he was dead BEFORE he fell through 
the Veil.
