What if other teachers behaved like Snape?

Annemehr:
It seems certain to me that Snape was able to choose to call up
*painful* memories in general. Otherwise, we would have seen plenty of
random boring and happy memories mixed in: Harry brushing his teeth,
Harry doing homework, Harry flying...

And yes, Cho kissing Harry was a painful memory (at least in part)
because of how extremely uneasy he felt at the time.

I don't mean this as an argument against the way Snape taught
Occlumency (obviously, Harry would have more motivation to repel Snape
when the memories were painful). It's more a point about what
Legilimency might be able to do.
