I agree with Alina about not knowing because Harry doesn't know.  But 
also, I remember a lot of boys that age in school being totally 
oblivious to girls being "girls" and not just one of the gang!  Some 
boys had to be practically hit over the head before they would 
notice.  I was like Hermione, I dated one boy and then kind 
of "forgot" about them and just dealt with school.  Makes sense to me!
