There's a lot of snippage here.  Julie was listing possible reasons 
that we have not seen more of the Grangers:

Ginger:  I have often wondered why Hermione hasn't told her parents 
about Harry and asked them, as respectable Muggles, to talk to them 
or turn them in.  Surely it would be something they would 
understand.  No magic needed at all.  They seem like decent folks.

On a funnier note:  I had a wonderful chuckle imagining Dr. (Mama) 
Granger giving Vernon a root canal and happening to say something 
along the lines of "Dursley!  Now I remember where I heard that 
name.  My daughter is a classmate of your nephew, Harry."  Bring on 
the laughing gas.
