I like the thought on Dobby, since he's meddled before, but I don't 
see him as a possible traitor. He just seems so dead set against 
hurting Harry.

On the other hand, maybe he'd imperio someone to keep Harry out of 
harm's way. Seems a bit extreme, but we've seen extreme from him.

As for not introducing new characters, the new DADA (and possible 
imperio'er) could easily be someone we've seen or heard of before. An 
auror like Shackleford, an OoP'er like one of the older Weasley boys, 
or one of the many names that have been dropped with little fanfare 
throughout the series. And any of these could be the traitor. I still 
like Tonks for that, though.
