boy who watched said boyfriend die. But JKR needed Harry to get over 
Cho, and her still attachment to Cedric was a good way to do it 
(though I wonder if she cries all the time around Roger Davies now, 
too?).

But you are thinking like an adult. Cho is a young adolescent. And we all 
know that the adolescent brain is not fully developed and adolescent girls don't 
usually think things through like you did.
