This is maybe a horrible thought, but has it occurred to anyone that
Bode's murderer may have been none other than his healer,
Miriam Strout?

On an unrelated note, I have been wondering, since I've never seen the
name anywhere else, whether Broderick Bode may be a descendant of the
18th century astronomer Johann Bode, who I gather was sort of a Gilderoy
Lockhart of his time, both in charisma and in taking credit for other
people's work...
