Just to clear up:  Although I myself have a later version, apparently 
in the first US printing the order was wrong: it had James coming out 
first and saying "your mother is coming."  By the time I bought my US 
edition, it had been corrected to Lily coming out first and 
saying "your father is coming."  So JKR is referring to the error in 
the first US edition, which she has since said was a mistake (which 
is why she had it fixed for later printings).  I think this is 
somewhere in the FAQ.
