Excellent post, I just think you missed the most important point.  

Regulus Black!

As I already posted in msg.# 103435 Regulus is the latin diminutive 
of rex, meaning little king. There you have your prince! Just need to 
find a way around the fact that Regulus is obviuosly not a halfblood.
