Which? Voldemort, or the Prince? I think Tom chose Voldemort as his
new name himself, marking his attempt to master death. As for the
Prince name, whether he chose it or it was bestowed on him by others,
it still seems unlikely he cast it away in favour of Lord.
Anyway, calling someone a Prince is a pretty stupid nickname and I'm
sure someone would remember that Tom used to have it - whereas this
HBP thing is probably going to be something that Harry & co discover.
