characters slaughtered, not Ron!!!!

JKR did say in another chat that we would see Aragog again, didn't 
she?

But surely she wouldn't do that to poor Ron. I mean, if she has to 
kill him, that would be too cruel.  Look at the way she wimped out on 
Cedric and Sirius, and you think we're gonna watch Ron get chomped on 
by a giant spider?  Unless... maybe *Dumbledore* gets eaten by a 
spider... and we find out later that he's really Ron...
