Ok we know Sirius' body probabily won't return but,... his 
reflection giving advice through the mirror? Maybe his spirit can't 
rest till he see things through.

So were not totally rid of him. At the end of the second book after 
advising Harry through the defeat of Voldemort, I suggest Sirius can 
finally rest.
