We see the lesson, but I don't believe Harry has as yet.  If you look 
at the end of OOP, Harry was still vowing vengence upon Snape for his 
part in the events leading to his Godfather's death.  

He also has been shown the lesson - but has yet to realize -  
that "blaming" doesn't help the situation (and could actually make 
things worse - which he will probably have to deal with early on in 
book 6).
