I think Jo meant the supposedly obvious clues in the books suggesting
that snape *was* a vampire (generally references to "swooping like a
giant bat" and other similes and metaphors of that variety and such
traits as wearing black and liking or tolerating cold dungeons). i
suggest checking the archives for some of Pippin's posts. Also IIRC,
there's a summary of the pros and cons for the argument in the
fantastic Posts section or the VFAQ, I forget which. But it's water
under the bridge now, hooray!
