Agreed! When I read the quote from Jo about the person only being 
able to do magic in desperate circumstances it reminded me of the 
wandless magic that children do when they're angry or scared before 
they acquire a wand or any training. Hence, the wand question! I 
like the image of Figgy grabbing Harry's wand and using it to 
protect him. Putting the Dursley's in the same scenario, I can't 
imagine anyone but Petunia being bold enough to grab it- I wonder if 
she remembers any of the spells that Lilly did when she was changing 
a rat into teacups! Hmmmm... Petunia changing a rat into a teacup! 
Wormtail anyone?
