That's it! I've finally found someone who can explain it.. I have 
several reasons for being strongly opposed to the R-Hr ship, but 
that's the one thing I couldn't quite put my finger on. Their 
personalities in a marriage don't mix in my opinion. I couldn't see 
Hermione just going for the settles life with Ron and playing the 
part of the "good wife" who cooks/cleans etc.
