Kimberly:
I have often thought the same thing.    James, by most accounts, was arrogant.    With Harry being raised by the Dursleys, he would have a much humble upbringing.    By humble, I mean his thoughts in reference to himself, his abilities, etc.    Had he known from Day 1 that he was a great wizard, with lots of gold, etc., he would be a great deal different then the Harry he is now.
