Ahh Susan...I feel your pain here, I've read all of these posts and I 
understood what you were saying the very first time (I sware :)).  I 
agree with you, if the Order communicate instantaneously, so do the 
DE's!  I do have a question for you though, do you think Snape is in 
contact with Voldemort directly, or do you think he is only in 
contact with Malfoy?
