Especially odd when you consider that Harry Potter is a rare case in that he 
actually is already in history books by the time he comes into the History 
Professor's class.  You'd think if Binna knew any student by sighte, it would 
be one who he's read about in one of his books for class and who bears a 
distinguishing mark on his forehead.  

Perhaps evidence that  Binns' scope of history knowledge is limited when it 
comes to 'recent' events?
