Ah! :)  Sorry 'bout that.  I missed the original post.

I do think Perkins will come back into the story at some point.  It 
seems unlikely that the name "Perkins" would appear twice and not 
refer to the same person.  It doesn't strike me as a particularly 
common name.  Of course, it could be that Perkins has other 
relatives that we don't know about yet.

The real question then is: What is the significance of Binns 
addressing Harry as "Perkins"?  How could Perkins be related to 
Binns or Binns' class?  Does it matter?
