But... but... you are just listening to that silly Sorting Hat.
What does it know? Listen instead to that fount of wisdom, Hagrid:
"*Everybody* says Hufflepuff are a load of duffers". It's
undemocratic, and therefore wrong, to believe one hat against
everybody.
MacGonagall said Peter wasn't very good at magic, so, obviously,
he's Hufflepuff material. You know, just like Neville. Because she
didn't know he could do the Animagus transformation, or cause an
explosion that killed thirteen people, her clear vision wasn't
obstructed by tedious facts.
Remember, first impressions are always right. If that wasn't so, we
wouldn't have prejudice, and without prejudice, we'd have hardly any
HP series worth mentioning, would we?
That's why *real* fans always look down on Hufflepuffs, and assume
that anyone who is a bit of a duffer, like Peter, must be one.
There, I'm glad I set *that* straight!
