GoF DADA professor

I cannot find the original post, but someone had mentioned that 
Goblet of Fire broke the pattern of Harry meeting the DADA teacher 
before the new year started.  I do not think it did.  Harry DID 
encounter fakeMadEye in the box at the Quidditch Tournament.  Crouch 
Jr was invisible and accompanied by Winky.  He even stole Harry's 
wand, remember?  So GoF did follow the pattern.  It just wasn't as 
obvious.

Lynnette, who thinks Snape IS a good guy, even if he is NOT a nice
