Snape's job

I just had an idea, probably someone already posted something 
similar before. Here I go, what if Snape (the sound of SSSSnape is
almost sssssnake-like) didn't need to get to Voldi "in person" in 
order to do his job. What if he could be able to enter into the mind 
of Nagini or someone else to get information. What if he transformed 
into someone or something else? Any ideas?
