Annemehr:
Perhaps Sirius felt as if he had lost Remus because he'd failed him --
he had wrongly suspected him of being the spy.

Annemehr:
Actually, I think it's neither. Since JKR's already said none of the
Trio will become animagi, I just think she used her own favorite
animal for Hermione's Patronus instead. Since she'd discussed her
favorite animagus form at least twice before in earlier chats, and to
save time, and because she was probably trying to answer quickly, she
probably just replied that we've seen her favorite animagus form
already as Hermione's Patronus, only it didn't come out as clearly.
After all, look how unclear I've been, and I took my time! ;-)

Annemehr:
You know, I hope we do eventually find out both the animagus form and
the Patronus for a single person; personally, I don't think they will
be the same. But don't worry about the ones who turn out to be fish
-- they don't drown immediately in air (I guess you've never seen
anyone catch a fish!), so they would have ample time to change back
and start cursing about the useless form their animagus takes!
