Also DD is a judge in the Triwizard Tournament. IIRC, both the first
and second tasks occur in the daytime. The second task occurs first
thing in the morning. Dobby wakes the sleeping Harry and tells him to
hurry down to the lake to save his Wheezy. DD is definitely present as
he speaks to the merpeople and confers with the other judges about the
scores.
