Slighty OT, but what's wrong with kissing the snake? You sound as if it was most horrible thing in the world. Snakes - most of them - are indeed rather gentle creatures. I'd rather kiss a snake than let a dog lick my face - snakes at least don't slobber all over you and don't sniff their arses all the time.
And stroking a snake (get your minds off the gutter, the lot of you) is very pleasant. They have very nice, smooth skin.

Back to the topic - interesting anagrams of Severus' name. I like the first and the third one best. Anybody want to try Minerva McGonagall?
